LaChute River Walk Bridge
Located on the LaChute River just downstream of Lower Falls in the town of Ticonderoga in Essex County, this bridge is known locally as the Kissing Bridge.  Our research has shown that this bridge was probably not built as a covered bridge because it was covered in 1994.  Various sources noted construction dates that did not agree.  Let's just say it was built earlier!
A steel stringer bridge, this spans the waterway that joins Lake George to Lake Champlain.
