To reach Falls #3 you will hike
upstream about 0.3 miles from
Falls #2. It starts out pretty
easy and quickly becomes very
steep. The stream also becomes
very spread out so I found
myself walking up through the
middle of it. There was not
much water but if you go during
a time of higher water you'll
likely have to swing wide to one
side or the other to avoid
getting too wet.
Regardless, just keep following
the stream and you will arrive
at Falls #3 in about 16-20
minutes depending on the pace
you can keep. Falls #3 is in
the 35'-40' range.
The
bottom is a little hard to
define because it's in the
middle of a long steep
mountainside. The top
portion of the falls is more
defined and nicer looking,
despite the low water volume.
If you look at the video you
can get an idea of the terrain
in the area.
