Continue a short distance upstream from
Shelving Rock Brook South Tributary Falls #8.
Only about a three foot drop, it is a very pretty area.
Unfortunately,at only about six feet, this drop isn't all that
impressive with the low water level in late summer. We
really want to come back and view this in the spring with higher
water flow. Shelving Rock Brook empties into Lake George. The water
from this then flows through La Chute into Lake Champlain.
The flow then goes north through Canada on the Richelieu River and
empties into the St. Lawrence River.
