Continue a short distance upstream from
Shelving Rock Brook
South Tributary Falls #1 and you will encounter this super beautiful
drop! This had a total drop of 15-20 feet.
Along with drop #10, this waterfall is one of the top two
impressive locations on this stream.
Shelving Rock Brook empties into Lake George. The water
from this then flows through La Chute into Lake Champlain.
The flow then goes north through Canada on the Richelieu River and
empties into the St. Lawrence River.
