Note that this is the trail to the top of Peaked Mountain.  Anyone choosing to climb that summit is looking at a 7.6 mile hike with an elevation change of about 1400 feet!

The Peaked Mountain Brook flows into Thirteenth Lake.  This in turn flows through Thirteenth Brook which empties into the Hudson River just upstream of Mouse Rapids.  The Hudson flows into the Atlantic Ocean in New York City.
