return upstream. Just a few yards past the trail
you had been hiking, you will see a path that leads to
the base of Falls #2.

You will see the falls from the main trail. Including
all sections of the falls, it is about 15' tall.
This tributary flows into the Butternut Brook just above
Butternut Brook Falls #4. Butternut Brook empties into Lake George.
The flow then goes north through LaChute, Lake Champlain and
then through Canada on the Richelieu River. It eventually
empties into the St. Lawrence River.
