Directions
From NY 3 between the villages of Henderson
Harbor and Henderson, proceed east on NY 178. This
intersection is just south of the Queen of Heaven Catholic
Church. Before you reach the stop sign in the
village, the post office will be on the right, and just
beyond that is the Salisbury's Mills Park.
This waterfall is at the back of that.

One of the first settlers
of this community built a mill and dam on this site. The extent
to which this was a waterfall before the dam was built is unknown.
The mill is long-gone and all that is left is this man-enhanced
waterfall. A local television station did a short clip on this waterfall
during 2012 and 2013. They referred to this as Fireman's Park.
The source of that name is also unknown. There are no references
to this at this location.
The Stony Creek is actually one of the smallest waterways that
flows into Lake Ontario that contains a waterfall. Its outlet
into Lake Ontario is just south of Stony Point in the town of Henderson.
