Long Lake Quadrangle

We have not yet been to this location.  Touey Falls is an officially named waterfall and is shown on topographical maps.  There does appear to be, or perhaps there once was, a railroad bed very close to it.  This is a fairly remote area and we do not know if it is accessible.

If anyone has information or pictures of this site, please contact us.

The Salmon Lake outlet flows into a series of ponds and lakes in the heart of the Adirondacks.  Its water finds its way into Lake Lila and Stillwater Reservoir, which flow into the Beaver River.  The Beaver, in turn, empties into the Black River which flows into Lake Ontario in Dexter, Jefferson County.
