Another of the many unnamed
falls on the Grass River, this one is visible from the highway,
but please note that once you get off the highway, you are on private
land. You can't miss it, but please respect the landowner's
rights.
There are two homes just downstream from the falls and one directly
across the road. You can get a fairly good view of the falls
from the road, but not a very good picture. While I was there,
the lady who owned the home directly below the falls came out and
offered to let me use her yard to get a better picture!
The Grass River flows into the St. Lawrence River in Massena,
in St. Lawrence County.
Note: Depending upon which map or sign you are using, this
river is referred to as either Grasse or Grass.
Officially, it is Grass.
