Waterfall videoAnother of the many unnamed falls on the Grass River, this one is known locally as Burts Falls.  There are falls on both sides of the island.

This waterfall can also be seen from the north side of the river.  This is Pestle Street Road, but you are looking over the crest of the falls, so the view is not as favorable.  You also can not see the south channel from there and, once you are off the highway, you are on private property.  The south side of the river is your better option.

The Grass River flows into the St. Lawrence River in Massena, in St. Lawrence County.

Note:  Depending upon which map or sign you are using, this river is referred to as either Grasse or Grass.  Officially, it is Grass.
