This location is just past
the Elm Creek Middle Falls. Like that one, you can park on
the side of the road for somewhat distant views of this waterfall.
All of the property on this side of the road in front of the falls
is posted, so you will not be able to get any closer.
This is a very nice little slide waterfall that drops an estimated
ten feet over this short stretch of the creek.
There is an unnamed waterfall indicated on topographical maps
just downstream from here. Since this is the second of two
waterfalls upstream of that one, we have tentatively dubbed it Elm
Creek Upper Falls.
The Elm Creek flows into the Harrison Creek in the town of Canton.
This flows into the Grasse River which flows into the St. Lawrence
River in Massena.
