This trail is well marked and used. Blue markers will lead
you to a footbridge where you will see the top of the falls just
downstream. Paths along both side of the creek will take you
to the base of the falls.
If anyone has any information or pictures of these waterfalls,
we would be very interested in
hearing from you.
The outlet of Buckhorn Lake flows into a stream that connects
Oxbow Lake with Piseco Lake. After flowing through Piseco
Lake, the Piseco outlet carries the water to the West Branch of
the Sacandaga River. This combines forces with the east branch
in the town of Wells. The combined Sacandaga River empties
into the Hudson River in Lake Luzerne and that flows into the Atlantic
Ocean at New York City.
