This relatively small but pretty waterfall is only
about 150' off the road and can be easily seen from the roadway.
Although we have been told that it is common for people to swim
at this location, the land there is private and posted. You
have unobstructed views of this waterfall from the highway.
We will follow up on this to see if we can get access for better
photos.
The river drops about a foot in the first step into
a curtain cascade of about four feet.
The Three Mile Creek empties into Three Mile Bay,
a small bay which is part of Chaumont Bay on Lake Ontario.
This area is just west of Watertown in Jefferson County.
