Our directions and pictures were sent in by John Holmes, who describes this as a 3-tier waterfall.  The top is about 3’, with a 5’ middle tier and a 7’ bottom tier.  There is a smaller drop just a little way further upstream.

Pictures 1 thru 5 are from a hike to Colden in August 2014. 1 and 2 show a small drop just above the main falls. 3 shows the top portion of the main falls. 4 shows the whole falls from the front and 5 shows the falls looking down from the top. Picture 6 is from a hike to Grey, Skylight and Marcy in October 2015 and has more water flowing over it.

If anyone has any additional information on this waterfall, please contact us.

The Marcy Brook empties into the West Branch of the Ausable River.  The west branch joins forces with the east branch in Ausable Forks.  The combined Ausable River empties into Lake Champlain in the town of Peru.

The Heart Lake area by the Adirondack Loj also provides the access for Rocky Falls, MacIntyre Brook Falls, Indian Falls and the Lake Colden Tributary Falls.  Considering the length of the hike to these areas, you might want to consider grouping these together.
