Pillar Point Falls

Directions

From the intersection of NY 12E and NY 180, just west of Watertown, drive west on 12E about 1/4 mile.  Take a left on the Middle Road.  Proceed for 5.5 miles to the Stone Road where you turn left.  This road will end at the south shore where you turn right.  In just over a mile, you will come to a creek and the waterfall will be on the right.

Henderson Bay Quadrangle

This location is probably on private property, but it doesn't really matter because you can see it from the roadside.  The waterfalls itself is very tiny, probably only three feet high.  Because of its size, or lack of it, many would probably not consider this a waterfall.  It is, however, a cascade, and flows during part of the year.  During dry times, it slows to a trickle, and between December and March, it is usually frozen.

Pillar Point is a peninsula that juts into Lake Ontario.  This unnamed stream is no more than two miles long and its outlet is less than 300 yards from the lake.
